The Big Malarkey Festival
The Big Malarkey Festival is an annual celebration of children’s literature, stories and illustration, created by Hull Library Service for children, families and schools.
Join us in our beautiful tented village in East Park in June. Meet authors and illustrators, poets and performers, musicians and story tellers, and have a go yourself in practical hands-on workshops.
The family weekend presents two jam-packed days of activities, for anyone age 0 – 16 who has ever enjoyed a good story!
From puppetry to zines to animation to the latest technology in our Makerspace tent, there’s something for everyone at The Big Malarkey Festival.
